I could be the exception for all we know. Maybe the installer working on my car had one too many the night before.

Anyway, the good thing is that the 4 mounting tabs have identical spacing. So the light housing is centered whether the adjustment knob sits on top or is pointing south. If you have dainty hands, the assembly can be flipped without going behind the bumper. Just remember to readjust the throw.
