Given your age, you did one of the most intelligent things possible! A 19 year old owning a wrx is a bad, bad idea... Even if they are the best drivers ever, (which they all think they are), they still get to pay the highest insurance rates of ANY demographic. Personally, I don't like tossing money towards insurance for the fun of it.

Its a much better idea to have a car that is safe, reliable, cheap to insure, and cheap to repair. Save the WRX until you are old enough your insurance premiums drop, and you have enough money in the bank to replace a trans/engine without having to skip rent next month.
