Has anyone noticed their impreza not wanting to go into 6th gear on its own? After having the car for about 6 months, I have noticed that it never seems to want to get into 6th gear and lower the RPM.
I took a trip last weekend which consisted of highway and state roads (50mph). I noticed that if I manually shifted my CVT into 6th gears the rpm's would drop to about 1.5k and my gas mileage improved to the point where I was getting 33 mpg on the way down.
Has anyone heard of an issue like this that others have or could be fixed with an ECU flash?
