Note the items were suggested to him IF HE WANTS.
And if you really want to get technical, here is PER COBB TUNING. (This is why the VF39 swap is so popular with 02-07 wrx's)
Hardware Requirements: Otherwise stock vehicle with the following modifications*:
Turbocharger: IHI VF39 (from 2004 - 2006 STi)
Intercooler: 2004 - 2007 STi top-mount intercooler or equivalent
Fuel Injectors: Stock fuel injectors
Intake requirements: Stock airbox or COBB Tuning SF Intake
Exhaust requirements: Upgraded turbo-back exhaust
Restrictor pill requirement: 0.043” restrictor pill. More information about this on page 4
and page 5.
BCS and Fuel Pump are tuner specific and generally to reduce the risk of the owner coming back because of an issue. There is MORE then enough fueling for the 39, especially with the 06/07 fuel systems being the same as the STI. BCS is completely suggestive to the tuner, it helps give a bit better boost control for fine tweaking.
You can't learn it all in 2 months.
