Fascinating race to watch today. It had rained all morning in Spain. The premier class started in damp conditions, half the field on slicks and half on rain tires. A drying line had the guys starting on wets scrambling for the pits to get on their other bikes (which had been set up with slicks). Later in the race, the rain began to fall again, and a new set of scrambling began again. Lots of crashes throughout the race too. Amazing to watch these guys on 240 horsepower missiles with a 3 square inch contact patch in these types of conditions.
The racing season is now over and the testing season for next year begins. There is no down time really at this level.
