What FlatironsTuning said about the 06 wrx clutch is true, the previous owner did it right by switching to the singlemass flywheel. I would return the clutch if you can and get the appropriate Spec one to match the single mass flywheel.

But, the question here is, why are you changing the clutch out?? Was the 06 wrx one starting to slip or did you just want to upgrade because of additional power you would be running?

Also, it is the tranny that determines what clutch to run whether pull style or push style with yours being a push style. Then, obviously the right clutch for the power level. What Adam said about the flywheel he told you about specifically bolting to the ej255 is also true only because it is a dual mass one and the fact that the 05-06 legacy gt uses a dual mass one. But, the dual mass flywheel sucks rear...

So, get the right Spec clutch to match the single mass flywheel and you will be set
