2006+ WRX does not have a catted up pipe.

Definitely a great point about the tranny and the clutch. The stock 5 speed can handle 300whp+ (mine has been going strong for a while now). Just avoid launching it and keep the stock clutch so you can be sure it's the weakest link in the drivetrain. My stock clutch has been going strong on this setup for almost a year now with absolutely no issues.
