ive had my 911 for about 4 years now and as far as maintence goes oil changes are a bit more only due to the fact i use 12 quarts per rather then the subarus 4.5 quarts and change a fan belt. Some things are more expensive to repair on the porsche and parts are readily available everywhere but, pelican parts is really good about shipping and usually have parts in 2-3 days when ordering.
Exactly the type of info I was searching for. Thanks drifterx!

This will be my daily driver as my STi is my DD now. I have always loved Porsches and I spotted one with good miles on it for a great price.

I do have to admit, being able to lay the seats down and have SUV space is great but its just me. No wife, no kids and no family on this coast, or at least in WA.

The 91 C4 is a coupe, 5 speed, awd and is gorgeous. Of course I want reliability but I still want my 91 C4. Met a guy with 298k on his 92 C4 and he daily drives it. There would be no payment so I could always put my imaginary payment in a car fund for mods and maintenance.

Really tough decision though.
