Yes, the WRX has a metal part that goes between the scoop and the intercooler. However, it doesn't have the same horizontal plane that cuts across the middle of the scoop to force air to the front of the IC. So it's not really "splitting" the air. That's what I meant. But yes, the WRX has ducting and a boot to channel the air.
