The price difference wasn't significant enough at the time to be any better. I haven't checked recently though, but I bet its the same.
At lunch I'll go drive by the Valero and see what the price of 93 is compared to e85. Last I checked it was less than $1.00 difference.
So I never got those prices.. I did today..

Assume you're getting 20 mpg over 14 gallons on 93 octane = 280 miles
28% less fuel economy on the e85 is 14.4 so 14.4*14=201.6
Your results may vary, but this is just to give you an idea.
