I too sometimes lose my signal, but maybe only once or twice in a week. When I go in for my 3k service, I'll add to the complaint list and maybe push some progress your way. I know one day we had a set of storms push through and I lost signal, the other times I was at a light underneath the highway. My complaint is that, yes, it will be somewhat inaccurate as far as representation of position on the screen. Once I get moving again it tends to fix itself though.

Sorry to hear you've got squeaks, mine is squeak free, even on some of these rough Cali back roads. Possible temperature squeaks perhaps? I've heard these new Subarus (2011+) are bad squeakers in cold weather. Not sure what the deal is with that.....
