Poor programming is poor programming regardless of what you're doing - weightlifting, running, powerlifting, swimming, writing code, and CF. Sure, it can be fun to go stupid and see what you're capable of accomplishing, but that is a one off type of thing. Hitting 400+ burpees isn't going to give you anything other than the knowledge that you hit 400+ burpees. All in all, its just pretty damned silly. But as long as your having fun....
