Too many missing details, I call BS.
haha... no bs. ok so the whole story is: my car got the oil pressure light. Took it to the Subaru dealer in Houston and while on property the Cobb was taken along with my headunit. They discovered my oil pickup tube broken and replaced it (with a killer bee that i supplied) I was unclear on the extent of damage just knew it had had no oil pressure. Then i got my first chance to really drive it after it had oil pressure. and immediately noticed how much it was smoking. The dealer said that based on how smoothly it was idling, it was probably not the engine but instead the turbo. Not an incredible amount of turbo shaft play but enough to cause concern and line up with the symptoms. Because of the break in i wasn't too interested in keeping the car there to let them actually make the turbo change, so i bought another turbo off the forum and put it on myself. imagine my surprise when, a week later it was still smoking like no one's business and not making full boost (only about 12 psi on a stage 2 cobb map). So at this point, i gave up and took it to the tuner where a leak down confirmed that my engine was very healthy. what had happened was that I had soaked my cat with oil while the turbo was blown and it was just burning off. We were unsure why the car wasn't making boost but he believed that it was also due to oil build up. Since the boost was low i thought that maybe the dealer had actually broken into my car and unmarried the AP but the tuner confirmed that it was still installed (not sure how to do this but it involved his open source software). I had accumulated a few parts that i wanted to get put on and then the plan was to dyno tune, but he told me he couldn't do anything with the AP still married. So i packed up the ECU and sent it back to Cobb and they rolled me back to 0. it took it a few weeks to fully stop smoking and to start hitting 14 psi but it did eventually do that. The intention was to then go right back to the tuner and get tuned but some personal stuff came up and since the car was running ok i let it go. it was april of this year when all of this happened. I guess i made a mistake in assuming that I could leave the aftermarket stuff on.. it didn't even occur to me that this was bad... ugh..

So you asked for more detail.. there it is. sorry for the book. I think i know what i need to do now, and appreciate mechatricity for hearing me out.
