I had a straightpipe section made for my axleback (bolt-on) as an alternative for use at the track/drag strip/whatever. I find that straightpiped, the car loses lots of its gusto it seems to have with the Cobb section on (full 3" TBE). It sounds nice and all, but it doesnt seem to have the thrust that it gets when the normal exhaust is on. Do you find this to be the same on your setup?
An axleback shouldn't have any effect on power.
