Finally got around to the laptop to do this...
The Sti Is Back Up And Running!
After a long rebuilding process of planning a course of action, getting new parts, refreshing the engine and piecing everything back to together,
everything has paid off and the car is better than ever!
To start things off, we got the longblock assembled after the internals were refreshed with new bearings, heads and block decked, ARP case bolts installed, main bore honed, heads clearanced for new higher lift camshafts, new Ferrea valvetrain installed, etc.
Then we had to install the timing components and ran into a slight problem...
Since the block/ heads had been decked, the timing belt was between 1/2 & 1 tooth off so i purchased 2 Crawford Performance
"cam timing adjuster" pulleys to take care of the problem and timing is perfect!
Next order of business:
I wanted to clean up my engine harness so removed the unused connectors and try my best to hide the harness in the engine bay!
