Default help me find my cooling leak

a few days ago my wrx started leaking coolant, the shop i took it to wanted a lot of money and said i would have to remove the turbo to fix the leak. i finally got around to poking around under the hood to try to find it today.

i couldn't pinpoint the leak. it was antifreeze, it smelled like it, and it was dripping slowly on the ground off of the passenger side crossmember under the car. there was a small bit of smoke from the area around the turbo, but all of the lines i could see were not smoking at all. what are the metal wrapped lines? i believe these are the oil lines, is that right? i traced all the coolant lines i could find from the top of the turbo, and there was no leakage or any buildup around the ends, but its leaking somewhere.

also, my heat isn't working, im guessing its because there isn't enough pressure build up to work the thermostat...
