It only happens when the car is moving. If the car is already parked, then it doesn't do it.
So if the car is moving ~5mph or more and parking brake is applied, a lound clunk sound is heard. This happen even when the brake is applied lightly.

I thought part of the break-in procedure is to apply the parking brake while the car is in motion. So it can't be that this parking brake is not meant to be engaged when the car is in motion.

Have you guys experienced this?
Mine does exactly the same thing, I'm not sure if it has something to do with the hill assist but it is definitely meant to be applied I while the car is in motion in an emergency situation.
