After you take off the heat shield, you wrap the blanket around the hot side then you have to get underneath the car and reach up and wire it together.

I ran one wire on the front side of the up pipe and the other on the back side of the up pipe.

if you are good with safety wire and have some safety wire pliers, it helps...
if not, its kinda a pita.

Damn. Really? I didn't expect to need to lift the car. obviously the more tools you have and the more you remove to gain accesibility, the better. But, I lifting the car?

Are there others who have installed this thing "shadetree mechanic" style without lifts, tmic removal etc.? Shoot--I'm not even sure how the damn thing is supposed to be oriented in terms of the nothces, nameplate, etc.

I'm sucking right now~
