until the needle moves...

I know a lot of guys say you dont really have to and just give it 15-30 sec. But when its 30 degrees outside and you only give your subie a few seconds, it doesn't sound happy when you start to pull out of the driveway...

if its COLD I let the needle get about halfway.

and I wont get on it until my oil has warmed up a bit, and for you guys without an oil temp gauge it takes a while! My drive home from work is 11 miles and if its below 30 my oil temp gauge wont move! (lowest number on gauge is 140 degrees) So its not always best to go by the water temp gauge on the dash!
