IDK I just don't like the sensation of it. I'm so used to the car being able to roll back when I'm taking off it's just weird to me. I've only driven with it for a few mins while I drove my buddies WRX for a few miles so maybe I'll get used to it. It would just be nice to know I know at least disable it if I wanted to.
Plus sometimes when come to a stop you just wanna roll back a little (ie. in a parking spot) you just leave the clutch depressed when you stop to roll back. With hill assist you have to let go on the clutch to be able to roll back. Again not a big deal to get used to, it would just be nice to be able to disable it if I wanted. Same goes for traction control. I've never owned a car with it before so I'm sure it's gonna take a little getting used to, but at least I can turn that system off when I want.
