Couple things to make sure of if you do it yourself:

-Make sure the oil drain tube is hooked up correct.
-Make sure oil feed line is the correct one for whatever turbo you install.
-A trick to getting the lower bolts off the turbo is to use (maybe borrow) a really long extension and a swivel joint and go from under the car.
-When you un-bolt the spring bolts (if you still have them) they are under some tension.
-Read, read, and read some more.
-I usually fully tighten down the DP to the turbo prior to tightening the to the mid-pipe.
-What was said above about a tune if it is not a direct replacement.
-You can find OE turbos for sale from people who upgrade there perfectly working turbo to make more power, maybe search the FS listings.
