1 (D) in the instructions. "The bracket is part of the horn assembly. Tighten or loosen the nuts of the bracket or bending the bracket will change the functionality and you will loose the warranty." (Bad grammar/spelling theirs.)
I doubt it matters much, other than voiding the warranty.
