But yeah, highly modified cars are a pain in the ass and lose their appeal quickly. Sometimes I long for a stage two WRX/STi again.
The pay is extremely well, and my daily per diem is double my daily commuting expenses. The company I work for currently has a 30+ million dollar contract out here in Gila Bend through March constructing the new Solar Power Plant being built here. No sense in moving, since our contract here expires soon.
They can be a pain in the ass, but this thing is finally dialed it and the kinks have all been worked out. A build comes to a certain point where you realize, "Do I really want to keep dumping money into this evil money pit?" And you're quick to answer no, and you're ready to move on to more important things in life, especially those which are a much better investment.
