also you really don't want a wide snow tire, skinnier in the snow the better. you need to cut through the snow to get to the pavement under it. skinny with tall sidewall will give you much better snow/ice grip. if you like the look of sitting flush like your summer setup, get some spacers.
I'm new to buying tires myself. My good friend and mechanic used to get all the hookups for me but he passed away last month. I'll get the hang of it soon enough.
I'm also incredibly impatient. I'm trying to work on it. I have a huge issue with wanting things immediately.
Hopefully I can get more involved here and start making more friends in the car world. Been lurking too long.
