There's a very good chance Subaru will do that for you. As well as that car has sold, how popular it's been in the tuner scene, after market turbo kits have been made, all on top of everyone raving about the BRZ STI look and wanting more power....from a marketing standpoint, they'd be crazy not to put that motor in it.
Nissan blew it by not bringing the turbo motor in the 240sx, Mazda hit it big with the twin turbo RX-7 (is it the FD?), , Toyota hit it big with the turbo Supra, and Hyundai's Genesis coupe has done well.
Subaru and Toyota can't make the mistake of missing out on building this car. I'd think they could build it and still keep the price between $26-28k with a couple package options.
