A sample pic of what i did to my08 wrx with quad tips.

Its a bit dated because now i have a 09 wrx spoiler on it too.

I just bought a muffler and center pipe from the STi to do the same... So a question...

The muffler tips look like they hang too low from the bumper. Would it be possible to bend the hanging rods a bit to avoid this? Did you try anything, or did you just install it as it fell in place?

As for the bumper... How did you measure the cuts? Did you remove the bumper? I'm trying to decide whether I should remove the bumper or not. My guess is I would do a better job by removing it, although it'll be a lot easier to leave it on.

Mine's silver also, so your pic just gave me an actual idea of how it'll look on my car. I don't like how low the tips look, so I might have to work around that, but I'll probably replace the tips with bigger ones to better fill the gap...
