I have to try everything when I am attempting to spool that large of a turbo with my measly ej205, and as I keep telling myself through the build, it will all transfer over to a built 2.5 block. I will post with results, everybody I have talked to has provided positive reviews about something as simple as a BOV/DV Valve.
I wouldn't worry about spool too much. I have a gtx3076r with .63 exhaust housing, on a stock 205 and I'm getting 22psi by 44-4500 rpm. And im making right at 400awhp and that's in Denver. I am rotated and pulling it out to 8k rpm though.
