I'm seriously considering trading my 12 WRX for the 14 XT too. I love my WRX, but lately been wanting more ground clearance and interior space for offroad adventures.
All I have ever driven are manuals, but averaging 30k miles per year of driving I'm getting pretty tired of shifting and I actually like the sounds of how the CVT performs in the new Forester. Also the increased MPG would be a definite plus.
Reliability on a first year redesign model has me a little worried though, but then again all of the ringland failures on the current gen WRX have me pretty paranoid already lol..
