IMO, the best all season tires for new england are Nokian WR and WRG2s. (and, no, they are not sold by Tirerack) I've run 4 sets on 3 vehicles over the past 8 years and they have never disappointed. They are a snow biased all season. with both great summer and winter performance. Last winter I didn't even put my snows on, just ran WRs all winter. Plus they wear like iron, I usually get >35K miles on a set. To me worth every penny. If you need one set of meats for new england, these are what you get.
Some will offer up Conti extreme contacts as an option for an all season, but they did not come close to the Nokian WR in testing at Team O'Neil--laughable really.
