Yeah, I was speaking from experience with the new CVT from the 2012 Impreza. The 2013 Outback/Legacy have the CVT revised and it's supposed to be a lot smoother. I HAVE driven the Outback with CVT (2011, I believe) and I agree, I wasn't impressed with the starting either.

I will say that I stand corrected, though, since I wasn't being specific! haha Thanks.
