Giving it more power entails more costs of components, warranty fixes, etc. Until someone starts giving Porsche a run for their money in that segment, I don't see it happening. But I guarantee that if it ever happened you'd see a Cayman GT3 tomorrow, although a bit dusty because it's been ready to go since 2002.
YTD, Porsche sold 2971 Caymans/Boxsters and almost 14,000 Cayenne SUVs.
