Not properly planning and designing a system can ruin the whole experience.
I'd really prefer to be able to put these in stock location. I don't want to have to put these in kick panels and find accomodations for the tweeters if I can buy some spacers and make pretty much any other options fit in the doors.
I understand that sound quality will depend heavily on installation - again, I've heard the Kappa 6.1's more than a few times. My one friend custom installed them in his G35 Coupe. Head unit, 100w amp, two 10" JL subs, dynamat all over the place... Thing should have been a beast. Yet the speakers couldn't keep up with the sub and the tweeters got a little harsh.
Again, not saying that there's anything wrong with those speakers. But given my experiences, the things I've read, and the things guys are saying here, my mind hasn't changed on them.
