Hmm, not that I'd ever trade my car in, that's a good point, except that I don't know if my valves are stuck open or closed, so if I "JUST TURN IT OFF", I'm risking the exhaust coming back through those open valves, essentially giving me open cylinder heads on my engine, not cool
