also the pistons alone are like $600 anyway, not sure who you are gonna get to remove your engine and change your pistons for $400. You should probably change the rods while you are in there anyway
Yeah it definitely is at that. And yeah like I said, I wouldn't know what the installation cost might be, as I do all the work myself. I have a buddy of my mine who's prepped and built several cars for the Newfoundland Targa Rally who would definitely give me a good deal to install them. He has a ~430whp 20gxtr STi on meth himself
Not sure about the Rods, I think if I were to change them you may as well go big and get the turbo-tuff Manley Rods or cosworth or similar. I cant see the basic rods being any stronger than the stock STi ones?
