I went for 15" Michelin xi3 from Tire Rack, replacing the 17s on my Ltd. No probs, and they look fine on the car, IMO. (I'll upload a pic if someone will tell me how!) Only have 100 miles on them so far, but a short test up an inclined road with packed snow and ice was pretty impressive. Handling on dry road they're quite responsive, but you do have the less defined center and the delayed bite of a snow tire. I was going to go for the Wintersports, but the Tire Rack guy talked me out of them, on the basis that, if you're going to spring for snows, you might as well get snows, and prioritize cornering the other 9 months of the year. The sense of that, + the fact that the xi3s are supposed to have the best handling in the category, are the ONLY tire in the category with a (40,000 mi!) tread wear warranty - and that the 15s were only $102 - clinched it.
