Less contact with the chassis in normal conditions less vibrations. under load the center will close the gap in the middle making it stiff. OEM mount has the same principle with the center triangle piece but further apart, ie more slop. I basically replicated the OEM 5MT mount with stiffer compound and less gap when under load.
I had the solid mount and couldn't stand the NVH, this is isnt much louder, works great.
