Thanks everyone! Ill have some time this evening to try a few more things. The crank and cam sensors we're easy to get but the vss is not so easy, not stocked anywhere and pricey. I was gonna drop it off at the tuers shop tomorrow but a may try a little more on my own. Time is precious for a working student.
