Because I didn't want to use the headphone out, no access to volume control and awful noise floor. The other option was to use a USB DAC of which I have many but required a custom kernel that I didn't want to mess with yet. I'm no stranger to flashing but since I already had the Parrot installed the bluetooth was a easy first step.
I may add a DAC w/ OTG cable and connect that to the Parrot Aux In as a next step. Thats why I left back of the DIN housing empty.
