#1.) what tire are you offering for review (please include size)
215/45 R17 91W XL Yokohama S.Drive
#2.) what is your geographic location
Front Range, Colorado. Mostly paved, some dirt road driving in the mountains.
#3.) what types of driving events if any (i.e. track, AutoX, RallyX)
No motorsports; spirited weekend warrior. Most miles mix of highway/city.
#4.) percent of highway vs. city driving
#5.) your review and personal comments
I put more or less 25k miles on these, and I'm down to the wear indicators in the middle, slightly less on the inside tread. Alignment is in spec; aggressive driver, so I'm not surprised at the insides wore faster. Also seems to indicate that spec alignment is ideal for my driving.
Tire rode much better than the 87W Pirelli P-Zero M&S tires I had previously; handled high-frequency impact much better, and seems to have better grip overall. This isn't surprising since the S.Drive is a summer tire, vs the M&S Pirellis. Road noise increased with age, as expected. Grip in wet conditions was very good even with little tread remaining. Overall great tire for the money; I'd recommend to others.
Replacing with summer Pzero 91Y XL; will reply with that tire's review also.
