I average 14-16mpg in the STi regularly (no longer the DD however) and that's with at least one pull each time I drive it. Make sure your air filter is clean, your plugs are fresh, quality gas, fresh oil, equal tire pressure and a GOOD alignment. When is the last time you had your fuel filter changed? Definatly check your alignment if you haven't done it recently, having even slighly too much toe-in or toe out can really screw with your fuel economy.
