Not too bad, actually. After comparing costs for going to Spain or Belgium, Canada was pretty competitive. I lucked out and found a hotel with an 8+/10 rating that's about 30% cheaper than the rest of the comparable hotels during the weekend, but still includes free breaksfast and free internets (so I can spam all of you with pics, of course). Total cost for hotel ($900 for 4 nights), flight from the UK ($730), and race tickets (~$500) worked out to be about as expensive as the Spanish Grand Prix, but usually much more exciting.

Do you know where you're staying yet? I might book our condo/apt tomorrow with my friend, actually.
I'm staying in a hotel on the east side of the river, about 2 minutes/1 stop by train to the circuit.
I learned from Monaco last year that it's damn smart to stay somewhere east of the circuit, so the trains are less full. No clown cars here! Everyone else will be heading west after the race.
We should definitely meet up and grab a beer. I would have gone with the gold package as well, but it's now sold out, and I don't want to be shooting through a fence on Sunday.
I also just bought my ticket for Britain! It's the cheapest race for me to attend because it's about 2 hours by car from my house (so no hotel or excessive travel costs). I'll be parked at Club...
