"40's kinda old for a WRX owner"? sure hope not. I have a '2012 Hatch with Cobb cat downpipe, Cobb air box and open source stage 2 mod..and I just turned 60!!

I'm also in agreement with many here, once I added the downpipe, the stock exhaust sounded better. Don't forget the hatch has a better flowing exhaust system than the sedan, it really opened up the stock exhaust ,sounds better.

You have to go to a large Subie event and check them out ,youtube videos just too much variability. I'm considering the subie exhaust or the Nvida after the snow melts..

Better factor in the wife/kid here too, nothing will piss the wife off than having to scream to have a conversation.

Even after having my NSX for 20 yrs my wife still hates the engine sound when I stomp on it ( hard to believe anyone would hate that engine)

Lately she 's OK with the noise, but I think she's going deaf like me...
