America is fascinated with idiots: rednecks, Jersey Shore morons, trailer trash...whatever. The TV networks feed this addiction with garbage programming.
My wife and I got rid of cable 15 months ago and have never looked back. Giving up TV is the best thing we've ever done. We use the extra money to dine out more often and the extra time for outdoor recreation, home projects, and <edited due to adult content>.
