To be totally honest I didnt know MPS even built short blocks when I was in the market for them. If I could go back in time I would most definetely be a MPS motor owner. I fell on a killer deal for this S+R shortblock and couldn't pass it up at the time.
Eventually I will get a meth kit set up (cause E85 is rare in my area) and see what this thing can do. Although not anywhere near S+R's claimed 800 horsepower lol.

Ya this turbo is pretty laggy and Dom even said he wasnt a huge fan but that turbo was on my previous build. You mean intake avcs? Thats all I have as well. I do think the valves help a bit. I hope you were as satisfied by MPS's work as I was. Truly a great experience with excellent results.
