Complaining of rough startups and some smoking...a poor man test to a "hiccup" in the cranking. Further diagnosis of an actual compression test lead to severely low number on cylinder 4 and low numbers on 2 as well. This is the piston that came out of number 4...same old same old really!
So, the car under first impression was really lacking the trq that it should have had...there was no doubt about it. But then acknowledging that it felt similarly the same after the tune years back lead to the realization that the turbo had failed...cracked wastegate anyone?
