Also, just curious how you found out they have the same bypass pressure?
I was told almost all subaru engines have similar bypass rating, only difference is between na and turbo is .4 psi which is negligible

na's are rated at 22.8 psi / 157 kPa
turbos at 23.2 psi / 160 kPa

i know the brz filter has an anti-drain back valve because of the way it's mounted but should be no problem to use.

If someone has there hands on a brz or 12+ FORESTER service manual, maybe they can confirm it...
