yeah, once I read that it had the power loss light or indication, I was almost positive it was a throttle body.
Just a fun fact, the reason the throttle body goes bad is not having the throttle body cleaned or cleaning it too much and it damaging the sensors on it.
Do they tend to go bad repeatedly from lack of cleaning (because I would be amazed if he was cleaning it too much)? If so, I can give them a heads up so they can avoid this next time. What's the time difference between a properly maintained throttle body staying good, and a dirty dirty throttle body going bad?
