Let me get this straight, there were an abundance of V7 and 8's because they were too heavy? Meaning Japanese people purchased the car, thought crap this car is slow, I should export the motor and crush the car.

V7 works with open source so no need to buy Apexi. Talk about saving money.

One of the main benefits of getting an EJ207 is so you don't have to rebuild the bottom end.

Now as far as looks? You can't beat a V6 STi.
