Every EJ205 I tuned was stronger than my EJ257 when it had stock pistons. For cast piston motors, I would only want a 2L.
For a twinscroll I would need a new exhaust manifold right? I have a p&p manifold and don't really want to buy a new one. I'm on the fence whether to put in a VF48 (earlier spool and less topend, but I'd rather have more topend) or 18G. I'm just gunshy of the 18G for the possibility of blowing motor/trans.

Self tuned the Stg2 setup, looking forward to getting the tune laid down for the new turbo as well.
I may eat crow, but I feel like they're a good product and not just another "ebay knockoff". I'm glad these turbos are getting more exposure here, it seems they're known to be very reliable in other circles, just not on NASIOC (yet). Plus, they offer some configurations that aren't advertised anymore by the other MFGs.
Why did you decide on the T518Z housing? It's just effectively a bigger housing with higher A/R right?
