I was told by my mechanic my throwout bearing is on it's way out. When it's cold and on cold starts it's rather noisy, but once it's warm it's hardly noticeable. He told me I may as well replace the clutch since they'd already be in it. With parts and labor he said it would be 750 bucks. I REALLY don't have the money for this right now. From what I've gathered the car is still drivable, but there is no telling when it will fail, that's the risk you take. I'm having no problems shifting gears and it seems to drive fine. I'm aware it needs to be addressed, but is it something I need to run out and fix or do I truly have a little bit of time to get my money up?
